Dear All,
ReplyDeleteI watched the telecast on the topic 'What's next?!(world-wide Terrorism)& I was shocked & disgusted to see that none of the participants were aware of the genesis of the present terrorist activities across the world & mainly perpetrated by islamic fandamentalism.
may I request you to have an indepth study of the various crusades fought in between two civilizations since the eleventh century. The present scenario is nothins short of an extention of the whole picture.
Thus present terrorist activities as seen at various countries, should be evaluated in the light of the clash of two civilizations. As Indians we were never been the main target, but presently we are just "Caught In The Crossfire"
I expect that your addas will have contents, meaningfull and thought provoking.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am a viewer of Doordarshan. I have only the DD channels. I have some comments on both the program and this blog too.
First of all, i should say that this program is of a new kind and the concept is very good. The topics discussed are interesting and some of them are controversial, so discussing on them attract viewers. Last episode you discussed about being late. There was a conclusion that the infrastructure outside of our nation is better, the workers and people are much more efficient, the time management is better. Out side the nation or in "videsh" as termed in the program gets a very wide area, because "videsh" is not one place that we see the people who stay there are better, or have better infrastructure. There are a lot of countries who does not have any infrastructure at all. Another thing discussed was if the weather was responsible for the bad time management. I think no in this case , cause you see London, Ireland they have a all the year wet and normally a very cold weather, in cold days you just cannot do anything. But at that place they wake up in the morning and start working. We have a better weather here. If you say that it is very hot here, then you will see there are a lot of cities with horribly hot weather and who work.
All that it needs for the time management is struggle. The countries who have struggled for their existence have a good time management. You can see the countries involved in the 2nd world war. They had to survive during the war and also after that. At that time they had no other choice than to do the works together and day and night get food and survive. After they have recovered the descendants have inherited this property. If you say the war for Independence in India, i will tell that was a great war revolt, but there was not as much struggle for existence factor as it was in the 1st and the 2nd world war.
To get good time management what we need is the fear, the pressure, some good planning. Because we do not have any real pressure we never can achieve any good. To get under real pressure we need the dedication on the work we are doing, and some strict rules which one should fix only for him/herself. Father mother and school or college fixes some rules, tries to bind under some rules and keep us under pressure, but if you see it is nothing but a sandbox. There is no real risk in this life. A lot of students have tension and fear to do bad in the exams, but you can realize if some one fails even in some major examinations in the schools what will happen? Nothing! So the pressure is virtual. You will then tell if some one fails in the college exams, he wont be able to get in good organizations and wont get paid well. If you notice carefully the guy who has passed the exam with good marks and who hasn't in a major cases they do not have any difference at all. Because the guy who failed might not have read the text he should have read to pass the exam, and the guy who passes has read the text but have understood almost nothing, just copied the text from the book in the mind and pasted in the exam copy, after the exam have finished you will not find any difference between the two. They enter organizations with high marks and good qualification and with a self satisfaction that "I have done a lot i have got high marks". Now when real pressure comes out side of the sandbox most of them cannot fight cause they only have the paper qualifications and the high marks to show, but no skills to fight.
The people who do not have good time management most of them are still in a sandbox and has not yet come out of it. What we have to do is to make the people face reality.
The more days are going we are running away from reality.
But still you can see a lot of Kolkatans, who work, and are dedicated.
What we should do is start planned working and learn the good skills, and purge out the bad ones.
And please stop flashy text in this blog, keep it plain and professional.
ReplyDeleteDiscussing about serious, sensitive topics is good, but for that the people discussing about them should keep some knowledge about it. I will request the people who are involved in the discussion do some home work, from books, internet or discuss with some experts, before actually take part in the program.
